The Review: This TV drama is billed as a real-time thriller. Maisie Williams is excellent and entirely believable as a teenager who becomes victim to an anonymous internet bully.
The character effectively becomes locked in her bedroom, unable to leave the computer and forced to meet the increasingly dangerous demands of her hacker.
It’s perhaps a little simplistic and sometimes it feels more like a lesson for teenagers rather than a drama, but that’s no bad thing.
This is a chilling, plausible and, at times, very sad story and there’s a brilliant twist which might make you question your own online behaviour.
The Verdict: No LOLs here.
First shown on Channel 4 in January 2015. Currently available on catch-up.
