The Review: I’ve always thought Joseph to be one of Lloyd Webber’s slightest musicals and there are some frankly bizarre moments in the show but this production is a big ball of energy and colour and you can’t help but get swept along with it. The infectious finale hammers home that this is a truly feel-good show.
Lloyd Daniels fits the role perfectly as the likeable Joseph whose confidence increases. Danielle Hope sings beautifully as ‘Narrator’ and Matt Lapinskas sends the audience crazy as Elvis. (Told you it was bizarre.) This production proves that even the slightest show can prove immensely enjoyable.
The Verdict: Don't close the door to this show.
